I often tell people that my journey into the b d s m community didn’t begin with ropes, rules, or rituals—it started with curiosity. Not the kind of curiosity that bursts into flames all at once, but the slow, smoldering type that whispers in the back of your mind, tugging at you the way a silk rope might tug gently against skin. I didn’t know it then, but that subtle pull would end up shaping large parts of my identity, the way I connect with people, and the way I express trust, intensity, and intimacy.
